We made it through two uneventful flights, hopefully two more boring flights to go! We had some Thanksgiving dinner at Tootsie's at the Nashville airport, then waited for our flight to DC- delayed an hour. We had a couple of hours in DC, then on to Frankfurt. Neither one of us remembers anything about the DC/Frankfurt leg, God Bless the inventor of Ambien. We had a great breakfast here at the Hilton, some sausages, cheese, sauteed mushrooms and croissants. Normal breakfast for us! We came back to the room for the best nap ever, then went down to the Christmas market. It is a huge outdoor tent market that opens in Frankfurt from mid-November until Christmas. It was very crowded and filled with good food smells. We finally broke down and got bratwursts from the stand, but the grumpy german guy working there was less than impressed by my attempts to point to what I wanted since everything was in German. There were actually several stalls that had even better looking sausages, but they were cooked on a rotating spit so there was no way even to point because everything was moving! Chris' highlight was the guy that was walking around with a working sausage grill strapped around his neck. We were able to meet up with one of the other LMI families here for a few minutes, we will be on the flight with them tomorrow. For tonight, Chris wants to go out for a big German feast, and then we will try and sleep on their schedule to get halfway through the time change.

Great photo! You look like you're having a great time already! And I'm jealous - Germany is great this time of year. Hope the rest of the trip is equally as fun.
